I will watch The Nutcracker!

It is one of the stories that ballet greatly interprets aside from Giselle, Romeo and Juliet and Swan Lake.
I was able to dance before as one of the Chinese Dancers, and then later danced it as a solo. I wished to be the Plum Fairy, but it’s way too impossible for that to happen. I’ll just watch this and enjoy!
Who wants to watch with me?

We went back to Greenbelt 2 because we thought their service this time will be better than the soft opening service they gave us. We went there ordered Chicken Marsala, Garlic Prawn Pasta again and Turtle Pie for our dessert. It wasn’t too long when our Chicken Marsala came and I was glad it came. Along with the Marsala, the waiter asked us if our other order was Garlic Sotanghon. Of course, it was not what we ordered. Whoelse had a hunch that, yet again, we were doomed. Thank goodness they were responsive as they apologized right away for the mistake.
Chicken Marsala
Russian Potato Salad. We like it!
They said they will say the order once again.
I asked if it’s going to take long.
They said they will rush it.
And they did rush it.

Garlic Prawn Pasta
The turtle pie came and it made my day. Must go back again, not for the mistakes, but for the dessert!
Turtle Pie!
I noticed people come to my page after keying Conti’s, Conti’s in Greenbelt, Conti’s Greenbelt, or anything that has Conti’s, Greenbelt and 2. Again, Conti’s is located along Sugi, Gourdo’s and the entrance of Greenbelt2 Parking. Along Italianni’s, Cyma, Spicy Fingers, Nuvo, turn to Nuvo to make your way to the back of GB2. It’s near the intersection of Greenbelt Drive, The Residences at Greenbelt.

Have you put up your christmas tree yet? Our house back in Nueva was already decorated come first of November. My grandmother always does that because reunions are held in our house and she wanted it to look presentable. The midget christmas tree from whoelse was finally used. I already had placed it in our for-the-meantime thesis hideout.
I was still very excited to decorate the whole condo given the limited resources. The tape I used for hanging the strings and christmas balls was not even adhesive. Until now, the string and the balls keep falling. I have to be reminded to buy a good scotch tape ASAP.
It’s White Christmas in Greenbelt! Notice the white couch, it’s too commercialized so people can have their pictures taken with the tree. I feel like having White Christmas whenever Philippines will experience snow.
I like how Louis Vuitton’s store is designed. Especially with the mirror-like walls. I love the colors.
I bet all of us are wishing a happy christmas for ourselves and for the nation. I hope those wishes come true. How many more days before Christmas? We need to save!

Nina posted her Housezilla Porn and Woman in a Mission which were all about interior designing and bookshelves, respectively. Thanks to Tumblr, I got a lot of drooling sessions over very nice houses instead of yawning over thesis for some time (lang naman).
I realized I’ve been mentioning your name here for quite a number of times already. Anyway, look what I found! Bookshelves! OR should I say libraries?

The last three reminds me of The Beauty and The Beast.

It’s been a long time since I went out and had fun with whoelse. The place has sucked me up all the way to finish the thesis, which we passed last Thursday and we are currently waiting for the schedule of defense. The thesis has been the world to us. We ate and breathed thesis. But I was happy last Sunday was a little different for us.

It was planned because both of us wanted to do something else aside from academic. We woke up really early for mass. Early meant 7:30 in the morning. (Hehe) We celebrated mass at the PGP Chapel in DLSU. I like celebrating mass when there’s a lot of songs. I’m sorry but when there’s too much talking my mind gradually leaves my soul to start thinking about something else. The mass was too short. The homily was very planned and stiff. I think the priest was even reading his homily. That’s what I don’t like about reading homilies, I can’t relate to what the priest is saying especially if it is about Jesus’ time. Some priests are really good with homilies. I like it when they converse to the people, when they start to tell inspirational or interesting stories. It’s only a plus if the priest injected humor a couple of times in his homily. It makes me do something good for myself and for others. But when priests become boring and read stories about saints, I don’t see myself listening. Well, that’s just me.
After the mass, we went to Starbucks for breakfast! Finally, I had the bagel I was desiring the past week. He had a ratatouille roll, which according to him, had a taste similar to a generic pizza. For lunch, we went to Pancake House.
When I go to Pancake House, it’s automatic in me to order that particular food: the Bonoan Fish. You should try it!!! When I ordered it the first time, I had a reason and it was not the fish, it was the salted egg. It turns out the food is actually good that I started ordering that every time I eat there.
Then we had pancakes for dessert! Okay, it’s almost a sin to turn our backs to our original favorite Chocolate Marble Waffle, but the Blueberry Pancakes just can’t stop from teasing my appetite! It’s almost to die for! I can have that for the rest of my life. Well, maybe after Shrimp.

I feel really horrible right now with the thesis due date nearing and the reality that we are far behind what’s expected of us to finish by this time. God knows how much effort we’re pulling off just to get this thesis done. We have sacrificed our social lives, for cheesecake. Gone are our weekend night outs and weekday chill outs.
But I felt more horrible when I learned that my cousins’ thesis during his college in ADMU under Legal Management was a Business Plan. We had a defense on business plans, too. We even made a website of our product. I just could not believe that was already their thesis. And look at us, gaining zits and deeper eye bags each day because our thesis simply can’t make life any easier.
Anyway…
I have thoughts on transferring to Tumblr. Although I already have one, it’s not like I use it for personal blogging. It’s all reblogging of my favorite quotations, pictures and what have you that catches my eyes. I like Tumblr because it’s very very simple. It doesn’t complicate things to the point that all you can do is reblog and like the post. Too simple you can’t even comment. I’m torn because I like WordPress, too, in a way. And I like seeing few people’s comments every now and then. I don’t think this blog is personal either, like my friend Nina’s. Another random idea.

It’s to die for.
Gosh, seeing this muffin makes me drool at the very moment.

Ever tried Pancake House for delivery? Well, I did. And I am now sure it was a mistake that I was craving for pancakes at the moment and wanting those filthy pancakes to be delivered.
Pancake House claims they have DELIVERY SERVICE. Let’s see. I look up on the net, found their stupid website somewhere, got the necessary contact numbers. Since I am living somewhere in Vito Cruz, I took the Pasay branch, Harbor Square Branch, Maria Orosa Branch, and Ermita Branch.
I first called the Harbor Square Branch. They said they don’t have delivery. (It was fne. It was not listed among the branches with delivery service.) However they asked for an alternative of picking up the food, but I wanted it delivered to lessen the expenses of Taxi Fare. Good service narin.
I called Pasay Branch. They asked for my area. I said Vito Cruz. They said the area is no longer part of their scope. Instead, they tried to gave me Magallanes Branch which is WAY out of the scope. I told them it’s too far from my place. They said they were just giving me the number so I could ask the Magallanes Branch what Pancake House branch could deliver my filthy pancakes. You know why they could not tell me the numbers? Because it’s a franchised Pancake House, not company-owned. Why the hell would I care who owns the branch? It’s the same Pancake House so get all those effing numbers needed so when a customer like me who is in need of An effing Pancake House Branch who can deliver my filthy pancakes, you can give me the contact number that I needed.
I took the Maria Orosa Branch, number not in use. Why put the number in the net if the number’s not working? Care to update your website?
Finally, I called the Ermita Branch. It was busy for quite a while and I had to keep dialing the number. Then finally, it rang. Great. I asked if they deliver. They do daw. I asked if they can deliver now. Wow. Delivery’s at 11:30 AM because the rider will come by 11 AM. I wished they were kidding me, but they weren’t. So I had to wait. I slept till 11:55 AM just in time to call the Pancake House Ermita Branch. They asked for my number. I gave them my cellphone number.
And they just could not accept my cellphone number. They wanted a landline. If I was using Globe Duo which is mobile and landline in one, would they cater to my need? It was their standard operating procedure, according to them. So there, Jollibee, Mcdo, Brother’s Burger, Max’s, Kenny Rogers deliver to me because they trust me even if I only have my cellphone number. You could not deliver because of one simple thing. So stop wondering why you can never be like the aforementioned companies.

Tanggalin niyo nalang kaya yang service niyo, ang bulok kasi.
